Fitting Instructions
1. Mark the required position on the door with a pencil.
2. Drill a pilot hole using a small bit, then after checking, drill a 10mm hole through the door to take the spindle.
3. Now place the bolt in position, and drill pilot holes for the 4 screws. Screw in the screws in these holes.
4. Push the spindle bar in from the other side of the door.
5. Cut the extra spindle if required.
6. The bolt can be mounted on either way around depending on which way the door actually opens.
7. Turn the bar of the bolt to the ‘open’ (vacant) position.
8. Fix the Indicator to the door while inserting the Spindle inside the Indicator. Ensure Indicator is showing VACANT position.
9. Turn the bar of the door in the closed position and fix the keeper to the Jamb.
