Trio unconditionally guarantees all manufactured against defects, and the workmanship that produces these products, subject to fair wear and tear within the normal working life of the product.

Trio however assume no liability for the following:

• Improper installation


• Failure due to improper maintenance


• Indirect or inconsequential loss or damage


• Cost of removal and/or replacement


• Cost of freight and/or traveling time


• Plated & Powder Coated finishes - these finishes cannot be unconditionally guaranteed. Although plated hinges are supplied to meet the Australian Standards, under certain conditions deterioration of plating can occur, such as:
  * Climate
  * Some cleaning agents can effect plated finishes
  * Bending hinges after plating can cause the plating to crack and this allows corrosion to occur under the plating
  
  
• Bright Steel finish - can only be guaranteed against faulty workmanship. Although every precaution is taken (eg protective oiling of all hinges) there still remains a limited shelf life before surface rust becomes visible.


• Stainless Steel - Stainless Steel finish is not readily stained, but it can be. Salts, some cleaning agents and items such as steel wool can leave dark patches on Stainless Steel which are hard to eradicate. It is the ability to withstand corrosion which makes the Stainless Steel so valuable. Stainless Steel hinges are guaranteed against faulty workmanship and conditionally guaranteed against faulty material.
